so thirty-some days into this project, and i'm already tired of my face... geez

so technically jenny gg and i did a wedding on the 1st of january - well... jenny did it, and i held the umbrella - before it turned inside out! but kali and andrew felt like the first wedding of the year for me.  and what a great way to start it off! kali and drew are the sweetest to each other and to their friends and family!

i'm super stoked about this year's weddings - thanks kali and andrew for letting me be a part of your day!

and jenny... i can't wait to be your assistant again this season!

i've had 4 days off - and it's been great... time with friends and time with myself.  one of my favorite places to go is cupcake royal in ballard... it definitely makes grading papers more appealing!

valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays... for different reasons than you might expect.

1) it's a holiday that we can actually celebrate in school because it isn't tied to any specific religion... yet.

2) i love hearts and love and sweetness

3) there's something about this holiday that makes me want to take photos and be creative and get inspired

... as for the cards and candy and mushy love stuff. meh.

just a few things from my week - happy weekend!

we're learning about goldfish and guppies in school - the kids are so excited... i'm just hoping to keep the fish alive long enough to finish the unit.

also... i have an undeniable urge to talk baby talk to the poor fish.
